MyFi application is designed in order to provide free WI-FI services to anonymous users especially in airports by using their mobiles or any system, which supports wireless connection.
Challenge
To implement Wi Fi monetization by providing people with free Wi Fi at Airports, Bus stops, Coffee Shops etc. The challenge was to retain the users, how to authenticate them and give them content across multiple channels. Monetization happens through media by downloading the app and then watching videos or taking quizzes. Another major challenge is the media server setup in the base server to manage the content.
Solution
User needs to connect first to the local server and agree on terms and condition provided by the server. If user acts according to terms and conditions he/she would gain access to free WIFI. The conditions are, download the app and watch a complete video or take a quiz.
